Responsibilities
- Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network infrastructure.
- Install, configure, and maintain state government computer systems and peripheral devices.
- Ensure compliance with state security protocols, data privacy laws, and IT governance standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement IT process improvements.
- Monitor system performance and perform regular maintenance to prevent downtime.
- Assist in the deployment of new software applications and updates across the department.
- Document technical procedures and maintain accurate inventory records of IT assets.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in IT support or systems administration.
- Valid State of Florida Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Windows Server environments.
- Familiarity with government procurement processes and security compliance (e.g., FISMA).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with non-technical staff.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
