Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations and maintenance of state IT systems and network infrastructure.
- Configure, install, troubleshoot, and support hardware, software, and operating systems.
- Ensure strict data security and compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement efficient technical solutions.
- Provide high-level technical support and training to government agency staff.
- Monitor system performance and perform regular security audits.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in IT systems administration or network engineering.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).
- Experience with cloud services (Azure or AWS) and virtualization technologies.
- Certification such as CompTIA Security+, Network+, or CISSP is highly preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly.
