Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain state government IT systems and networks to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Collaborate with state agencies to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues efficiently.
- Implement and monitor security protocols to ensure data integrity and compliance.
- Perform system upgrades, software installations, and hardware maintenance.
- Document technical procedures and provide user training to staff.
- Assist in the planning and execution of large-scale IT projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of experience in IT support, system administration, or a similar technical role.
- Familiarity with state government IT frameworks and compliance standards (e.g., FISMA).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in a high-pressure environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
- Valid NC driver's license may be required for on-site travel.
