Responsibilities
- Administer, maintain, and upgrade local area networks (LAN) and wide area networks (WAN).
- Ensure the security and integrity of sensitive government data and systems.
- Provide Tier 2 technical support and troubleshooting for internal staff.
- Implement and configure hardware, software, and operating systems.
- Collaborate with project managers to execute IT initiatives.
- Document technical configurations and maintain detailed logs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of professional experience in systems administration or IT support.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Network+, or A+ are highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of network protocols, firewalls, and cybersecurity best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
