Responsibilities
- Sort, distribute, and deliver mail/packages to residential and commercial addresses
- Operate mail processing equipment efficiently and safely
- Collect outgoing mail from designated collection points
- Provide exceptional customer service at retail counters and via phone
- Maintain accurate delivery records and route documentation
- Adhere to USPS safety protocols and delivery time standards
- Assist with inventory management of postal supplies
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Physical capability to lift 50+ lbs and walk extended distances
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work in various weather conditions
- Basic computer literacy for USPS systems
