Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based public health initiatives targeting underserved Minneapolis communities
- Coordinate emergency response protocols for public health crises
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify health trends and resource allocation needs
- Forge partnerships with healthcare providers, NGOs, and community leaders
- Lead health education campaigns and vaccination outreach programs
- Manage grant budgets and ensure compliance with public health regulations
- Prepare comprehensive reports for county commissioners and state health officials
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health or related field (MPH preferred)
- Minimum 3 years of public health program management experience
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or equivalent credential
- Expertise in health equity initiatives and culturally competent outreach
- Advanced data analysis skills with proficiency in SPSS/R
- Experience securing and managing federal/state health grants
- Exceptional crisis communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
- Valid Minnesota driver's license
