Responsibilities
- Dispatch emergency services (police, fire, EMS) with precision and urgency
- Maintain accurate incident documentation and communication logs
- Operate multi-channel radio systems and CAD software
- Provide crisis intervention to callers during high-stress situations
- Coordinate with multiple agencies during disaster responses
- Train and mentor new dispatch personnel
- Adhere to strict NENA and FCC protocols
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum 2 years emergency dispatch or public safety experience
- NENA-PCA certification preferred (will train)
- Valid Florida driver's license
- Ability to multitask in high-pressure environments
