Responsibilities
- Respond to emergency calls and incidents with urgency and professionalism
- Patrol assigned areas to deter crime and ensure public safety
- Enforce local ordinances and state laws with integrity
- Document incidents accurately in official reports
- Collaborate with law enforcement and community stakeholders
- Provide emergency first aid and crisis intervention
- Maintain public order during community events
Qualifications
- Valid Ohio Peace Officer Certification (OPOTA) required
- Minimum 2 years of public safety experience
- Current CPR/First Aid certification
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights/weekends
- Strong communication and de-escalation skills
- Clean driving record and valid Ohio driver's license
- Pass comprehensive background check and psychological evaluation
