Responsibilities
- Enforce county ordinances and state laws to maintain public safety
- Respond to emergency calls and conduct thorough investigations
- Prepare detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records
- Collaborate with law enforcement and community stakeholders
- Conduct patrol activities in assigned areas
- Provide testimony in court proceedings
- Participate in community outreach programs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
- Valid California Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) certification
- Minimum 2 years law enforcement or public safety experience
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights/weekends
- Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
- Clean driving record and ability to pass background check
- CPR and first aid certification required
- Spanish bilingual proficiency highly desirable
