Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware and software systems across county departments.
- Monitor network performance and ensure high availability of county servers and applications.
- Respond to IT service tickets and provide high-level technical support to staff.
- Implement and maintain data security protocols to protect sensitive citizen information.
- Conduct regular system audits, maintenance checks, and performance tuning.
- Collaborate with vendors to manage hardware lifecycle and software licensing.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Valid CompTIA A+ or equivalent IT certification preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in IT support or system administration.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and basic networking concepts.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced government environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
