Responsibilities
- Greet and Assist: Provide exceptional customer service by greeting visitors, answering questions regarding driver's licenses, vehicle registrations, and title transfers.
- Process Transactions: Accurately process DMV transactions, including payments, renewals, and document submissions, ensuring compliance with state regulations.
- Phone Support: Handle high-volume inbound and outbound calls, resolving inquiries and scheduling appointments efficiently.
- Data Entry: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the DMV database and computer systems.
- Problem Solving: De-escalate customer complaints and troubleshoot issues to ensure a positive resolution.
- Office Management: Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment for both staff and customers.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of customer service experience in a fast-paced office or service environment preferred.
- Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and ability to learn new software quickly.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with the public.
- Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods and navigate a busy office floor.
- Clean Record: Must pass a background check and drug screening.
