Responsibilities
- Lead and manage full lifecycle federal IT projects from initiation through closure, adhering to strict government timelines and milestones.
- Ensure full compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), DFARS, and agency-specific regulations.
- Communicate effectively with senior stakeholders, program managers, and clients to align project goals with organizational objectives.
- Oversee project budgets, resource allocation, and risk management to ensure deliverables are met within scope and cost constraints.
- Facilitate agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and retrospectives to drive team efficiency and product quality.
- Prepare and present detailed status reports, metrics, and forecasts to leadership on a regular basis.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- PMP, PgMP, or equivalent Project Management certification is required.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience managing federal IT contracts or large-scale government programs.
- Active Secret or Top Secret clearance with favorable adjudication history.
- Strong working knowledge of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and modern methodologies (Agile/Scrum/Kanban).
- Demonstrated experience with requirements gathering, scope management, and contract compliance.
