Job Summary:
The ideal candidate will support various government initiatives, ensuring compliance with regulations and facilitating smooth operations between agencies and the public.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough research and analysis of government policies, regulations, and legislative changes to ensure organizational compliance.
- Prepare and present detailed reports, briefings, and recommendations to federal and state stakeholders.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation for government contracts.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of all regulatory activities and audit findings.
- Respond to inquiries from the public and internal departments regarding government programs and services.
- Assist in the development and implementation of new internal procedures to improve government service delivery.
- Monitor compliance standards and recommend corrective actions to mitigate risk.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Political Science, Business, or a related field is required.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in government relations, public policy, or a related administrative role.
- Strong understanding of Federal, State, and Local government processes and regulations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex information for diverse audiences.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and government-specific database systems.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States and possess a valid government background check clearance.
