Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed requirements analysis and gather business needs from stakeholders to define system specifications.
- Design, develop, and implement software solutions and applications that comply with strict government standards and regulations.
- Perform system testing, quality assurance (QA), and troubleshooting to ensure high performance and security.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, engineers, and project managers to deliver projects on time.
- Document technical architecture, process flows, and user manuals for internal reference and training.
- Monitor system performance and proactively identify areas for optimization and improvement.
- Provide technical support and training to government staff and end-users.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in systems analysis, IT consulting, or a similar role within the government or public sector.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#.
- Expertise in database management systems (SQL, Oracle) and data modeling.
- Deep understanding of federal and state IT compliance standards (e.g., FISMA, NIST).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to obtain a government security clearance (if required).
