Responsibilities
- Process and prioritize 911 emergency calls with exceptional accuracy and speed
- Dispatch police units, fire services, and medical responders using CAD/RADAR systems
- Maintain detailed call logs and incident documentation in compliance with state regulations
- Provide pre-arrival instructions to callers during medical emergencies
- Coordinate multi-agency responses during critical incidents
- Operate radio communication systems for law enforcement operations
- Participate in monthly emergency response drills and training sessions
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
- Valid Florida driver's license with clean record
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Typing speed of 40+ WPM with 95% accuracy
- Ability to multitask in high-stress environments
- Clear communication skills in English (bilingual Spanish a plus)
- No felony convictions or domestic violence charges
- Must be 18+ years old and US citizen or permanent resident
