Responsibilities
- Receive and prioritize emergency/non-emergency calls via 911 and business lines
- Dispatch police, fire, and medical units with precise location and incident details
- Maintain accurate radio communication protocols during high-stress situations
- Enter/update critical information in CAD/RMS systems
- Provide pre-arrival instructions to callers (e.g., CPR, first aid)
- Collaborate with multi-agency responders during emergencies
- Adhere to all federal/state communication regulations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to pass background check and polygraph examination
- Clear articulation and neutral accent for radio communication
- Typing speed: 40+ WPM with 95% accuracy
- Ability to multitask in high-pressure environments
- Basic computer proficiency (Windows, CAD systems)
- Must be 18+ and a U.S. citizen
- Valid Arizona driver's license
