Responsibilities
- Sort, organize, and distribute mail/packages efficiently using automated equipment
- Deliver mail and parcels to residential/business addresses across assigned routes
- Maintain accurate delivery records and customer correspondence logs
- Operate postal vehicles safely and adhere to traffic regulations
- Provide exceptional customer service at retail counters and during route interactions
- Process incoming/outgoing mail using sorting machinery and manual systems
- Adhere to USPS security protocols and operational standards
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship or permanent residency status required
- Valid state driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds repeatedly
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Pass background check and pre-employment physical
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Basic computer literacy for tracking systems
- Previous logistics or customer service experience preferred
