Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver mail/packages to residential and commercial addresses along assigned routes
- Sort, organize, and prepare mail according to USPS regulations and delivery standards
- Maintain accurate delivery records and report any irregularities or issues
- Operate postal vehicles safely and adhere to all traffic laws
- Provide courteous customer service and assist with mail inquiries
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks and report mechanical concerns
- Adhere to strict security protocols for handling sensitive materials
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs regularly and push/pull heavy mail carts
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Basic computer literacy for tracking systems
- U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status
- Pass background check and drug screening
