Responsibilities
- Oversee the lifecycle management of complex IT infrastructure projects within the state government framework.
- Ensure full compliance with federal and state cybersecurity regulations and data privacy laws.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for development teams.
- Lead troubleshooting efforts for critical system failures to ensure minimal downtime.
- Conduct regular audits and performance tuning of database systems.
- Mentor junior staff and conduct technical training sessions on government IT protocols.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to improve user experience and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a government, military, or large-scale enterprise IT environment.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Java, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
- Proven experience with ITIL framework and project management methodologies (Agile/Scrum).
- Ability to obtain a suitable background check and security clearance.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder reporting.
