Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the organization's local and wide-area network infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Implement and enforce information security protocols to protect sensitive government data.
- Conduct regular system audits, updates, and patch management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deploy new IT solutions.
- Document technical procedures and maintain accurate inventory records.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in systems administration or IT support.
- Relevant technical certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CCNA, or MCSA are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and virtualization technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced government environment.
- Valid Driver’s License and ability to pass a background check.
