Responsibilities
- Screen passengers and carry-on luggage for prohibited items using X-ray and metal detection equipment
- Conduct thorough pat-down searches and baggage inspections as required
- Monitor security checkpoints to ensure compliance with TSA regulations
- Respond to security incidents and emergencies with calm professionalism
- Document security activities and maintain accurate records
- Provide clear instructions to passengers regarding security protocols

Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship (required)
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to pass background investigation and drug screening
- Ability to obtain and maintain Transportation Security Clearance
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift 50+ pounds
- Basic computer skills for security systems operation
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
