Responsibilities
- Deliver mail and packages to residential and business addresses along assigned routes
- Collect outgoing mail and parcels from customers' mailboxes
- Sort and organize mail according to delivery sequence and postal regulations
- Operate delivery vehicles safely while adhering to traffic laws and USPS policies
- Interact professionally with customers, providing exceptional service
- Maintain accurate delivery records and report unusual conditions
- Perform basic maintenance on delivery equipment and vehicles
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident with valid Green Card
- Valid state driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds repeatedly and carry mail sacks weighing 35+ pounds
- Ability to work outdoors in extreme weather conditions (heat, humidity, rain)
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods (4-8 hours daily)
