Responsibilities
- Sort and organize mail/packages according to delivery routes
- Deliver mail and parcels to residential/commercial addresses on foot or by vehicle
- Operate delivery vehicles safely and adhere to traffic regulations
- Provide customer service and address public inquiries
- Maintain accurate delivery records and report irregularities
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks
- Work in various weather conditions including rain, heat, and cold
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status
- Valid state driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Pass background check and drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic computer literacy for USPS systems
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong time management and route planning skills
