Responsibilities
- Deliver and collect mail/packages along assigned city routes efficiently and safely
- Operate delivery vehicles in compliance with USPS regulations and local traffic laws
- Maintain accurate delivery records and customer communication regarding special services
- Sort and organize mail according to delivery sequences and postal standards
- Perform basic equipment maintenance and safety inspections
- Provide exceptional customer service at delivery points and during interactions
- Adhere to strict security protocols for mail handling and vehicle operations
Qualifications
- US citizenship or permanent resident status
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs repeatedly and handle various weather conditions
- Strong time management and route navigation skills
- Basic computer literacy for digital scanning and reporting systems
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Flexibility to work Saturdays and holidays as required
