Responsibilities
- Deliver mail and packages along assigned city routes using provided postal vehicles
- Safely operate vehicles in all weather conditions following USPS safety protocols
- Sort and organize mail according to delivery sequences and regulations
- Collect outgoing mail from mailboxes and customer locations
- Provide exceptional customer service at residences and businesses
- Maintain accurate delivery records and report delivery exceptions
- Operate scanning devices to track package deliveries
Qualifications
- US citizenship or permanent resident status
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs repeatedly
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic computer literacy for scanning devices
- Reliable transportation to and from work location
- Availability to work flexible schedules including weekends/holidays
- High school diploma or equivalent
