Responsibilities
- Deliver mail and packages to residential and business addresses along assigned routes
- Sort mail in sequence of delivery and maintain accurate delivery records
- Operate delivery vehicles safely and adhere to traffic regulations
- Collect outgoing mail and parcels from collection boxes
- Provide excellent customer service and resolve delivery inquiries
- Perform route adjustments during weather emergencies or staffing shortages
- Operate automated delivery equipment and sorting machinery
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident
- Minimum 18 years of age with valid state driver's license
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds and walk extended distances
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and overtime
- Basic computer literacy for delivery tracking systems
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
