Responsibilities
- Deliver mail and packages to customers along a prescribed route in all weather conditions.
- Sort and organize mail in the post office and on the vehicle.
- Provide exceptional customer service and resolve inquiries professionally.
- Ensure the safety and security of the mail in your care at all times.
- Maintain the physical condition of your assigned vehicle and equipment.
- Follow strict postal regulations, safety protocols, and procedures.
Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Resident status is required.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid driver's license is required for City Carrier Associate positions.
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 70 lbs repeatedly.
- Ability to walk and stand for extended periods throughout the day.
- Pass a background check and drug screening.
