Responsibilities
- Deliver mail and packages to residential and business customers along an assigned route.
- Sort and organize mail on the delivery vehicle before starting your day.
- Collect and process outgoing mail from customers.
- Interact professionally with customers to ensure satisfaction and resolve inquiries.
- Adhere to strict safety standards and traffic laws while operating a vehicle.
- Perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and walking long distances.
- Handle mail with care, ensuring the privacy and security of sensitive information.
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or have legal alien status.
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record (MVR check required).
- Ability to lift and carry packages up to 70 lbs repeatedly.
- Ability to pass a drug screening and background check.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Ability to work in all weather conditions.
- Basic computer skills for route management.
