Responsibilities
- Deliver mail and parcels to residential and business customers in a timely and accurate manner.
- Sort and process incoming mail efficiently to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including providing customer signatures when required.
- Sort mail on foot and/or drive a delivery vehicle (PSE) depending on assignment.
- Provide exceptional customer service and handle inquiries professionally.
- Adhere to all USPS safety regulations and operational procedures.
- Load and unload mail from vehicles and hand carts, lifting packages up to 70 lbs.
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or possess a Permanent Resident Card.
- Valid Driver's License (Class C) is required.
- Ability to pass a mandatory drug test and background check.
- Must be able to lift packages weighing up to 70 lbs repeatedly throughout the day.
- Physical stamina to walk/drive for long periods and handle varying weather conditions.
- Basic computer skills and the ability to read and write English clearly.
- No major felonies on record.
