Your Responsibilities
As a City Carrier Associate, you will be responsible for the timely and accurate delivery of mail and packages to residential and business customers. This role requires physical stamina and excellent customer service skills.
Responsibilities
- Deliver mail and packages to customers in a safe, accurate, and timely manner.
- Sort and organize mail on the delivery vehicle before and after the route.
- Obtain customer signatures for certified and registered mail.
- Collect and process outgoing mail and packages.
- Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the postal vehicle and equipment.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
- Must be able to lift packages weighing up to 70 lbs repeatedly.
- Must be willing to work in all weather conditions and flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Must pass a criminal background check and a pre-employment drug screen.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or have legal permanent resident status.
