Responsibilities
- Deliver mail and packages to residential and business customers along an assigned route in Virginia Beach.
- Sort and organize mail and parcels efficiently before delivery.
- Provide friendly and reliable customer service to the public.
- Operate a PSE (Postal Support Employee) vehicle or walk the assigned route.
- Adhere to strict safety guidelines and traffic laws while driving.
- Handle mail with the utmost care and maintain route accuracy.
- Manage time effectively to ensure all deliveries are made on time.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status is required.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 70 pounds repeatedly.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions, including rain, heat, and snow.
- Must pass a drug screen and background check.
