Responsibilities
- Deliver mail and parcels to customers along an established route in all weather conditions.
- Collect and process mail from collection boxes, post offices, and other sources.
- Provide exceptional customer service and answer questions regarding mail delivery.
- Sort and organize mail efficiently to ensure timely distribution.
- Maintain the safety and security of the postal vehicle and the mail.
- Adhere to all USPS safety protocols and driving regulations.
- Perform related duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- United States Citizenship is required.
- Valid Driver’s License is required.
- Ability to pass a background check, drug test, and medical examination.
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 70 lbs on a repetitive basis.
- Must be able to walk and stand for extended periods, up to 8 hours a day.
- Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor.
- Ability to operate a motor vehicle (manual transmission preferred).
