Responsibilities
- Deliver mail and packages to residential and business addresses along assigned routes
- Operate USPS-provided vehicles safely and efficiently in all weather conditions
- Sort and organize mail according to delivery sequences
- Collect outgoing mail and parcels from collection boxes
- Provide customer service assistance at delivery points
- Maintain accurate delivery records and report irregularities
- Perform equipment maintenance checks as required
Qualifications
- US citizenship or permanent resident status
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs repeatedly
- Basic math and reading comprehension skills
- Reliable transportation to work location
- Availability to work flexible hours including weekends/holidays
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Ability to walk 5-8 miles daily on varied terrain
