Responsibilities
- Deliver mail and packages to residential and business addresses along assigned routes
- Sort and organize mail according to delivery sequence and regulations
- Operate delivery vehicles safely and maintain proper vehicle condition
- Collect outgoing mail and process postage metered mail
- Provide customer service assistance and resolve delivery inquiries
- Complete delivery documentation and maintain accurate records
- Adhere to USPS safety protocols and delivery standards
Qualifications
- US citizenship or permanent resident status
- Valid state driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy for digital scanning systems
- Reliable transportation to reporting location
- Ability to work in various weather conditions
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
