Responsibilities
- Sort and distribute incoming mail and packages efficiently to designated delivery routes.
- Deliver mail to residential and business customers in all weather conditions, including extreme heat and rain.
- Collect and process payments for Express Mail and certain parcels as required.
- Maintain accurate records of delivery attempts and receipts.
- Operate and maintain postal vehicles and handle parcels of various sizes and weights.
- Provide exceptional customer service and answer inquiries regarding postal services.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or have permanent resident status.
- Valid driver's license (Commercial Driver's License is a plus).
- Ability to lift, carry, and push packages weighing up to 70 pounds repeatedly throughout the day.
- Strong physical stamina and the ability to walk or stand for long periods.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
