Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver mail and packages to residential and commercial addresses along assigned routes
- Sort, organize, and prepare daily mail shipments according to USPS regulations and delivery standards
- Operate delivery vehicles and equipment while adhering to all traffic laws and safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service during interactions with residents and business owners
- Maintain accurate delivery records and report any irregularities or maintenance needs
- Assist with mail processing and distribution operations at local post offices as needed
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and handle packages of varying sizes
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status
- Ability to work outdoors in diverse weather conditions
- Basic computer literacy for package tracking systems
- Successful completion of background check and drug screening
- Previous delivery or logistics experience preferred
