Responsibilities
- Deliver and collect mail/packages along assigned routes using postal vehicles or walking
- Sort and organize mail efficiently according to delivery sequences
- Operate postal machinery including scanners and delivery confirmation systems
- Maintain accurate delivery records and report service issues
- Provide excellent customer service during interactions at residences/businesses
- Safely operate vehicles and adhere to traffic regulations
- Complete required training on postal procedures and safety protocols
Qualifications
- US citizenship or permanent resident status
- Valid state driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy for scanning and tracking systems
- Pass background check and drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work in various weather conditions
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
