Responsibilities
- Deliver mail and parcels efficiently along assigned residential and commercial routes
- Sort and sequence mail in proper delivery order using postal standards
- Safely operate delivery vehicles and adhere to traffic regulations
- Collect outgoing mail from designated collection boxes and businesses
- Provide exceptional customer service and resolve delivery inquiries
- Maintain accurate delivery records and report service issues
- Adhere to USPS safety policies and security protocols
Qualifications
- Must be U.S. citizen or permanent resident
- Minimum age of 18 years
- Valid state driver's license with clean driving record
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and walk long distances
- Must complete paid training program successfully
