Responsibilities
- Deliver mail and packages to residential and commercial addresses along assigned routes
- Sort and organize mail efficiently using USPS sorting equipment
- Maintain accurate delivery records using handheld scanning devices
- Operate USPS vehicles safely and responsibly
- Provide excellent customer service during delivery interactions
- Report mail irregularities and damaged items promptly
- Follow all USPS safety protocols and procedures
Qualifications
- US citizenship or legal permanent resident status
- Valid California driver's license
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs repeatedly
- Ability to walk 5-8 hours daily in varied weather conditions
- Basic computer literacy for scanning operations
- Pass background check and drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong time management and organizational skills
