Responsibilities
- Deliver mail and packages along an assigned route in all weather conditions
- Sort and organize mail according to delivery sequence and postal regulations
- Operate a delivery vehicle safely and efficiently while adhering to traffic laws
- Collect mail from collection boxes and businesses
- Complete delivery forms and maintain accurate records of deliveries
- Provide excellent customer service and resolve delivery inquiries
- Safely operate and maintain postal equipment and vehicles
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident
- Minimum age of 18 years old
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds regularly
- Pass a background check and pre-employment physical
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays
- Basic computer literacy for tracking systems
