Responsibilities
- Sort and process mail efficiently and accurately according to USPS standards.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring cargo safety and adherence to route schedules.
- Operate automated mail processing equipment and handheld scanning devices.
- Provide exceptional customer service to the public and resolve inquiries.
- Adhere to all USPS safety protocols, regulations, and security procedures.
- Perform physical tasks including lifting packages and standing for extended periods.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident.
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds repeatedly and stand for long periods.
- Good vision and ability to distinguish between colors.
- Valid driver’s license (Class A or B may be required for specific routes).
- Basic computer literacy for scanning and tracking systems.
