Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize electronic health record systems for 15,000+ veterans
- Implement cybersecurity protocols to protect sensitive veteran data
- Lead IT infrastructure upgrades across 12 clinical departments
- Train staff on new healthcare technology platforms
- Coordinate with federal IT teams on system integration projects
- Resolve complex technical issues within SLA requirements
- Ensure HIPAA compliance for all healthcare IT systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 3+ years experience in healthcare IT systems (Vistars/Cerner preferred)
- Active security clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Federal IT certification (CompTIA Security+ or equivalent)
- Experience with federal IT infrastructure standards
- Strong project management skills with PMP certification
- Ability to work in fast-paced federal healthcare environment
