Responsibilities
- Process and manage veteran benefit applications with 99% accuracy
- Conduct eligibility assessments for VA healthcare and compensation programs
- Provide comprehensive case management and advocacy support
- Coordinate with medical, legal, and community partners
- Maintain confidential records and ensure HIPAA compliance
- Conduct outreach initiatives to underserved veteran populations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Public Administration, or related field
- 3+ years of case management or veteran services experience
- VA-accredited claims agent certification preferred
- Proficiency in VA benefits systems (VBMS, VBA) and Microsoft Office
- Strong interpersonal communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to manage complex caseloads under tight deadlines
- Valid U.S. driver's license and reliable transportation
