Responsibilities
- Manage veteran benefit applications and claims processing with 99% accuracy
- Coordinate healthcare enrollment and VA service connections
- Conduct outreach programs to connect veterans with available resources
- Maintain confidential case files and documentation per federal standards
- Collaborate with medical, legal, and financial teams to resolve complex cases
- Provide crisis intervention for urgent veteran needs
- Train family members on veteran benefit eligibility
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Social Work, or related field
- Minimum 3 years experience in veterans services or federal benefits
- VA-accredited claims agent certification preferred
- Proficiency in VA systems (VBMS, VBAS)
- Clear federal background investigation and security clearance
- Exceptional communication skills in English/Spanish bilingual
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations with empathy
- Knowledge of Arizona veteran resources
