Responsibilities
- Process and adjudicate veterans' benefit claims with 100% accuracy within 30-day deadlines
- Conduct comprehensive eligibility assessments for VA healthcare programs
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop personalized care plans
- Utilize VA systems (VBMS, VBA) to maintain claim documentation
- Provide direct support to veterans and their families during benefit transitions
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for veteran services
- Ensure compliance with federal regulations (38 CFR, VA directives)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Healthcare, or related field
- Minimum 2 years experience with federal benefits processing
- Proficiency in VA systems (VBMS, VBA) or similar case management software
- VA certification in Claims Adjudication (preferred)
- Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance
- Exceptional communication skills with diverse populations
- U.S. citizenship and valid Wisconsin driver's license
