Responsibilities
- Process and adjudicate veterans' benefit claims with 99% accuracy
- Provide direct assistance to veterans and their families via phone, email, and in-person
- Utilize VA systems (VBMS, VBAS) to maintain claim documentation
- Conduct benefit eligibility assessments for healthcare, education, and compensation
- Collaborate with medical/legal teams for complex case resolution
- Participate in outreach programs to increase veteran benefit awareness
- Maintain strict compliance with federal regulations and privacy standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or 3 years of federal claims processing experience
- VA Form 10-2850c certification within 30 days of hire
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and VA claims systems
- Superior communication skills for veteran interactions
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
- U.S. citizenship and security clearance eligibility
- Experience with veterans' benefits programs preferred
- Ability to work rotating schedule including occasional weekends
