Responsibilities
- Process and adjudicate veterans' benefit applications with 100% accuracy
- Provide direct assistance to veterans regarding healthcare, education, and disability claims
- Maintain confidential records in compliance with federal regulations (HIPAA, VA guidelines)
- Collaborate with medical and legal teams to resolve complex veteran cases
- Conduct eligibility assessments for federal and state veteran programs
- Train junior staff on VA protocols and customer service standards
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Social Work, or related field
- Minimum 2 years experience in veteran services or federal benefits administration
- Proficiency with VA systems (VBMS, VBA) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
- Exceptional communication skills with diverse populations
- Knowledge of 38 CFR and PL 115-554 legislation
