Responsibilities
- Process and adjudicate veterans' compensation and pension claims with accuracy and timeliness
- Provide direct support to veterans and their families regarding VA benefits and services
- Conduct thorough interviews and document veterans' military service histories
- Collaborate with medical professionals to develop comprehensive claim files
- Represent the VA in appeals hearings and before the Board of Veterans' Appeals
- Maintain strict compliance with federal regulations and privacy standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in social work, public administration, or related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in veterans services or claims processing
- Strong knowledge of VA regulations and benefits programs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and empathy
- Proficiency in VA claims processing systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- U.S. citizenship and ability to pass federal background check
