Responsibilities
- Process and adjudicate veteran benefit claims with 99% accuracy
- Conduct virtual and in-person benefit eligibility consultations
- Maintain comprehensive electronic records using VA systems
- Coordinate with medical and legal teams for complex cases
- Develop personalized benefits plans for 15+ veterans weekly
- Participate in quarterly training on policy updates
- Support outreach initiatives for underserved veteran populations
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and active security clearance
- Minimum 2 years federal administrative experience
- Proficiency in VA systems (VBMS, VBA) and Microsoft Office
- VA-accredited representative certification preferred
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work 20-25 hours/week with flexible scheduling
- Knowledge of 38 CFR benefits regulations
- Experience with veteran-focused case management
