Responsibilities
- Process veterans' benefit claims and healthcare enrollment applications with precision
- Provide compassionate guidance on VA programs, services, and eligibility requirements
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to coordinate veteran care plans
- Maintain accurate electronic records using VA-specific systems (VBA, VHA)
- Conduct outreach to underserved veteran communities in Portland metro area
- Participate in quality assurance reviews and process improvement initiatives
- Adhere to strict confidentiality and HIPAA compliance standards
Qualifications
- US citizenship required
- Minimum 1 year customer service or administrative experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and electronic record systems
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
- Basic knowledge of veteran benefits systems preferred
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
